As of Monday July 10th we have less that 100 kids registered for the north and south SUPER CAMP locations combines ( about 50 in each). Super camp has historically played host to 250-280 athletes and being that this is our BIGGEST REGIONAL FUNDRAISER and the catalyst behind all the great things we can do for our kids in this region, it's success has a huge impact on our regional operations.

STATE CHAIRS - I am asking for your help to make sure the SUPER CAMP information gets to the clubs in your state. Please do not wait for a newsletter. This needs to be emailed to your membership WITH encouragement to support and participate this event.

NATIONAL COACHES - I know August is less than convenient when it comes to supporting another gymnastics related event. With Championships, Regional Mini Congress and Super Camp all in the same month it becomes tough..... BUT we need your support not only to get the needed number of athletes BUT ALSO to get your expertise as one of the assigned staff members. YOU ALL know how great the rewards are for our athletes... but the money does not grow on trees. Currently we stand to lose $17,000 as compared to last year.

I am in the process of obtaining a list of the clubs who have responded to the staffing requests sent out on 4 separate occasions. Hopefully YOU are on that list. I have reports that a mere 20 coaches have responded and most of those include coaches from the same club. This is a tough job if we cant get people to respond.
