Rules and Policies

At Grand Blanc Gymnastics Co. (“GBGC”) our goal is for individuals of all ages to learn about the sport of gymnastics in the safest environment while encouraging teamwork, self-discipline and increased self-esteem.  We want all gymnasts to have FUN while participating in a safe setting with fully trained coaches.  The experience shall be worthwhile, safe, motivating and long-lasting.  If at any time a question or concern arises, please feel free to approach your child’s coach or the program director, Christie Atkin.

In order to maintain our goals, we have a few simple rules that must be followed:

PAYMENT/REGISTRATION

  • Seven (7) week tuition must be paid in full via check, cash or money order prior to the first class of each term.  GBGC runs continuous sessions with make-up classes throughout the session and open registration the last week of the session.

  • To reserve your spot, tuition for the next session must be paid prior to the 2nd to the last week of the current session (Early Registration).  If a student does not register in the early registration period, his/her space in class may be filled by another student.

  • We charge an annual membership fee shown on the schedule.  For those wishing to enroll in a session by session basis, a non-member fee is charged in addition to tuition.

  • Students must be picked up no later than 5 minutes after their class time has ended.  There will be one warning given and then a late pick-up fee of $10 will be applied for every15 minutes past the grace period.

  • First time students may receive a full refund at any time prior to the third class meeting. Beyond the third meeting for new students and for the entire session for existing students, tuition is non-refundable.

  • Students may enroll through week 4 of a session or during open registration.  The session will be pro-rated based on the remaining weeks for those joining mid-session.  Missed classes from that point forward may be made up but are non-refundable.

  • A completed registration/release form must be on file before a student is allowed to participate.  Be prepared to complete the form with emergency contact, medical and insurance information.

  • A fee of $30 will be charged per returned check.
Family discounts are available.  (2 students = 10%, 3 students = 20% off lowest priced class, 10% off all others, 4 or more students = 20% off two lowest priced classes, 10% off all others)

  • Students and guests are not allowed on the gym floor before or after class and must always stay off of the equipment unless supervised by a coach.
